In a weird story out of Texas, a man was understandably taken aback when he discovered that his ex-girlfriend had orchestrated a scheme wherein they were legally married without his knowledge. According to a local media report, the nefarious nuptials came to light when the unnamed victim received a package from his former paramour Kristin Marie Spearman. Contained within the bundle were a bevy of Bath and Body Works products, a photo of his ex-girlfriend holding a seemingly complete marriage license for the couple, and a certificate that inexplicably confirmed that the duo had recently wed.
Confounded and concerned by the delivery, the man promptly phoned the police and explained that he and Spearman had obtained the marriage license earlier this month, but broke up following an argument. Cops investigating the curious case determined that the victim's ex-girlfriend had somehow convinced a pastor to give his proverbial stamp of approval on the paperwork without the man even being there much less knowing what was afoot. Spearman subsequently filed the license with the county clerk, making their 'wedding' official. Authorities arrested the victim's enterprising ex and charged her with 3rd-degree felony stalking.
