Ukrainian Scientists Suggest Moon is UFO Base

A remarkable new study by a group of Ukrainian astronomers argues that the moon serves as a base for UFOs. Put forward in a newly published paper, the tantalizing theory is reportedly based on lunar observations using a high-speed camera at an observatory in the village of Vinarivka. The researchers claim that the novel technique enables detection of objects otherwise invisible to the eye. During their observations, the group spotted over 20 UFOs of two distinct types: 'atmospheric' anomalies seemed to be stationary, as if tethered to the ground, and 'continental' objects that appeared to move freely across the lunar surface.

The paper noted that the aerial anomalies exhibited peculiar recurring flashes in something of a pulsing manner and that, at times, UFOs separated by a considerable distance would create the illuminations in tandem. Meanwhile, the surface-based objects were observed moving at tremendous speed, with one oddity that traveled at an astonishing 4 miles per second. Additional anomalies spotted by the team were puzzling ring-shaped UFOs that emitted no light, rotated every three minutes, and were estimated to be a staggering 22 miles in diameter. Lest one have any doubt as to what the scientists concluded from their observations, the astronomers clearly declared at the start of their paper that "we believe that the Moon serves as a base for UFOs."

They also chillingly argued that the lunar objects could travel to Earth "in 20 minutes." As such, they argued that UFOs seen in the skies over our planet are manifestations of the anomalies seen on and around the moon, musing that they "demonstrate intelligent behavior and can be regarded as a technologically advanced civilization." While the findings of the study are amazing, one would be wise to await further confirmation as the paper has yet to be peer-reviewed, meaning skeptical scientists will undoubtedly be looking at the research to see where the team's fantastic conclusions may fall short.
