A mysterious silver sphere filmed landing in a Colombian field earlier this year has been unveiled by researchers who suggest that the odd object could be otherworldly. The puzzling orb made headlines back in March by way of fantastic footage of the anomaly soaring over the city of Buga before coming to rest on the ground. The subsequent whereabouts of the sphere remained something of a mystery until Mexican journalist and longtime UFO researcher Jaime Maussan recently revealed that he has come into possession of the curious object that he has already declared to be "one of the most important cases in history."
The intriguing sphere (which can be seen showcased above and isolated below) reportedly measures around 20 inches in diameter and sports a strange symbol encircled by equally weird characters seemingly spelling out some kind of message. An X-ray analysis of the odd orb, conducted by radiologist Dr Jose Luis Velazquez at the behest of the UFO researcher, was said to have found that the piece is solid with around 16 'microspheres' contained within it. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Maussan's team of experts also applied AI to allegedly decipher the writing on the baffling ball, with the message being "the origin of birth through union and energy in the cycle of transformation, meeting point of unity, expansion, and consciousness – individual consciousness."
While Maussan indicated that the object is now in Mexico with plans for further testing, which "could last for years," some have already suggested that the story of the sphere may not be all it's cracked up to be. Specifically, it has been noted that David Vélez, who recovered the object and handed it over to the UFO researcher, owns of a company that just so happens to produce metal detectors. This has led to speculation that the 'discovery' of the orb could be an elaborate publicity stunt. Additional doubts have been raised due to Maussan's ongoing role in championing the controversial alien bodies' that continue to generate headlines to this day despite seemingly being debunked.
