Video: Alien Photographed Walking Alongside River in Bolivia?

By Tim Binnall

A strange photograph that has gone viral in Bolivia shows what some believe to be a semi-transparent alien walking alongside a river. The remarkable picture (seen in the video above and isolated below) reportedly appeared on social media in the country last week and quickly spread like wildfire. It is uncertain who snapped the photo, though it is said to have been taken at the Pilcomayo River in the city of Tarija. In the image, a man can be seen standing on the bank of the river and the alleged alien in question appears in the background as if it were inadvertently photographed by the person behind the camera.

As one might imagine, there has been considerable debate on social media in Bolivia as to the veracity of the photo. Asked for by a national media outlet for his take on the curious image, Javier Carlos Cordero, one of the country's leading UFO researchers, observed that the anomaly seen in the picture "looks like a transparent being with long limbs, typical of a gray being." That said, he expressed some reservations about the tantalizing photo, arguing that it "must undergo a process of analysis through a filter that determines its authenticity and whether it has been subjected to digital manipulation. Only then can we discern whether we are dealing with genuine evidence or an edited product."

Cordero went on to note that "Tarija seems to have a special connection to activities of this type and this reinforces the notion that there could be something more at play. The presence of abundant minerals and dimensional portals in the area could be related." However, those who suspect that the photo could be a hoax have noted that the 'alien' is not reflected in the water of the river, which would seem to suggest that it was digitally inserted into the picture sometime after it was taken.
