A father in England is considering moving his family out of their apartment following several months of strange activity that has understandably left him troubled. According to a local media report, the unusual events began when Willow Hunter and his daughters first moved into the residence in the town of Settle around seven months ago. What started with weird happenings, like doors opening and closing on their own, soon turned more concerning when the family's cat seemed fearful of one particular part of the home. Curious about the animal's aversion to the living room, Hunter set up a camera, which wound up capturing multiple eerie moments in the apartment.
As seen in the creepy collection of clips featured above, the security system filmed objects seemingly moving on their own as one of his daughters played nearby and doors opening and closing on their own with considerable force. "I’ve never really been a big believer in the paranormal. I try to be a bit more logical about things, but it's hard to rationalize some of the things that have been going on," Hunter mused, "it seems like my flat is haunted, but I don’t know what I believe. It's definitely making me question things."
To that end, the beleaguered dad offered the eerie observation that "there is something in this flat that just feels like it’s sucking the energy out of me," lamenting that he feels so drained that "I end up sleeping for 18 hours in a go. The past few weeks, it's gotten really bad." At his wits' end over the situation, Hunter indicated that he has begun looking for a new apartment for his family in the hopes of escaping the suspected haunting.
