Video: Creepy Clown Crop Formation Found in England

By Tim Binnall

A giant crop formation resembling the grinning face of a creepy clown was recently found in England. The eerie visage, which sports horns akin to a jester's cap, was reportedly discovered earlier this month in a field near Stonehenge in Wiltshire. Unlike the more enigmatic crop formations that leave open the possibility of an otherworldly origin, this particular design is undoubtedly the product of human hands. That said, who made it and their intended message remains a mystery.

To that end, diligent crop circle enthusiasts were able to trace the harlequin face back to a piece by British artist Harry Pack. Whether he had a hand in the formation's creation or the crop circle-creepy clown crossover is merely an homage to his work is uncertain. Meanwhile, details in the design provide some insight into how individuals manage to make such formations. "See that hole at the center of the 'nose' of the clown," a Reddit user explained, "that’s where a pole was stuck to serve as the central pivot point to make the circle."
