Video: 'Cyclops' Calf Born in India

A community in India is buzzing following the birth of a bizarre-looking calf that sports one eye and no nose. The unique creature was reportedly born in a village near the city of Ranaghat. Word of the one-eyed calf quickly spread among residents, leading to the animal becoming something of a sensation in the area.

According to the calf's owner, "people from the neighboring village have now flocked to our home and are asking us if they can worship it." To that end, the cycloptic creature is being celebrated by some members of the community as being a "miracle of God." Unfortunately for the calf, it will likely only enjoy a brief period of fame as veterinarians say that animals afflicted with the condition, known as cylcopia, generally only survive for a few weeks.
