The 2026 crop circle season is officially underway in the UK as the first formation of the year has been found by researchers. The sizeable design (showcased in the drone video above) was reportedly discovered on April 29th in Wiltshire, England. The dumbbell-shaped formation was specifically found overlooking a massive man-made mound known as Silbury Hill, which is the largest such ancient monument in all of Europe.
The April 29th discovery of the design is the earliest start for crop circle season in the UK since 2022, when the first find was made on April 24th. In keeping with the enigmatic nature of the phenomenon, the meaning behind the formation and who created it are a mystery. Some believe that the designs are the handiwork of creative human beings, but others argue that there is an otherworldly element behind the curious crop circles.
