Video: Five Horses Found Mutilated Following UFO Sighting in Argentina

In an eyebrow-raising story out of Argentina, five horses were found mysteriously mutilated following a UFO sighting. According to a local media report (warning: graphic images), the curious case came to light this week after rancher Francisco Quilodrán discovered the downed animals on his property near the community of Río Mayo. Chillingly, the slain horses bore an unnerving hallmark of the cattle mutilation phenomenon, as their organs appeared to have been removed with surgical precision that left behind bloodless wounds with burn marks that suggested a laser-like instrument had been used for the procedure. Additionally, a search of the area showed no signs of footprints or vehicle tracks, and typically voracious scavenger animals showed no interest in the feast of proverbial free food.

"I asked with country people who know, and no one knew how to answer," he recalled, "everyone was surprised." The already-weird incident took an even stranger turn after word of the downed animals spread throughout the community and multiple individuals, including his neighbors, contacted Quilodrán about mysterious lights seen in the sky over the area at night in the days preceding the event. "They thought I was walking around with a spotlight," the rancher said, "but it wasn't me." While one of the witnesses managed to capture the peculiar illuminations with their cell phone, the video (seen above) provides little to no insight into the lights or if they might be connected to the mutilated horses.

While he noted that he cannot connect the UFOs with the downed animals, Quilodrán conceded that he is open to the possibility "because another explanation I do not find." Ultimately, the rancher said that he is mystified by what happened to his animals and that the case will likely haunt him for some time to come. "I'm going to stay all my life thinking what happened," he mused, "I'm 31 years old, and it's the first time I've seen something like this." Quilodrán expressed hope that authorities or scientists might have an answer for the eerie event. That said, seasoned students of the cattle mutilation phenomenon know that such a scenario is rather unlikely.
