An intriguing series of photos from Chile shows what appears to be a flying saucer seen cruising through the sky by multiple astonished witnesses last weekend. According to a local media report, the compelling sighting occurred on Saturday in the town of Curarrehue. As several residents were gathered at a recreational area in the community, they suddenly stopped what they were doing when they noticed something unexpected in the sky: a flying saucer. Their consternation at the oddly-shaped anomaly was compounded when they observed it zip through the sky in a "fast and unusual" manner before vanishing into thin air.
Fortunately, one of the witnesses managed to snap some pictures of the flying saucer (featured above and isolated below). Remarkably, in one of the images, the object is obscured by a bright light, suggesting that the object was metallic and, in that brief instance, reflecting the sun. Since being posted online, the photos have spread like wildfire on Chilean social media and sparked debate as to the anomalous object's nature, with some suggesting it was otherworldly and others arguing that the UFO was something prosaic, such as a drone.
