A peculiar piece of footage from a security camera in Guatemala shows a ghostly anomaly manifest in the middle of a road just seconds before a motorcycle reaches the spot and crashes. The spooky scene was reportedly captured early Sunday morning in the community of Ciudad Vieja. Remarkably, the video was subsequently shared on social media by town officials, who asked residents for their thoughts on what had unfolded. Specifically, they point to a pair of glowing forms that appear in the road before vanishing just as the motorcycle reaches them and then inexplicably veers off the road.
As one might imagine, many online observers were quick to suggest that the illuminated anomalies in the road were paranormal in nature with some postulating that perhaps that spot in the road is haunted, while others speculated that the weird forms were some kind of supernatural warning to the motorcyclist. Meanwhile, skeptical viewers argued that the 'ghost' is merely a trick of light and shadow that may have been created by the approaching motorcycle. Should that be the case, the theory ought to be able to be confirmed by looking at previous security camera footage, though such an investigation has seemingly yet to occur.
