In a nightmarish story out of Philadelphia, authorities are on the hunt for a masked miscreant who menaced multiple people throughout the city. According to a local media report, the bizarre series of incidents occurred early last Wednesday morning when the suspect approached several individuals in a threatening manner over the course of approximately fifteen minutes. In one particularly chilling instance, the doll-masked man ran up to a woman and asked: "Are you ready to die?" When the terrified victim screamed, the ne'er-do-well fled the scene. However, that was only one of many encounters with the creep that morning.
A witness identified as Jameka recounted seeing the man sneaking up on an unsuspecting jogger from behind and alerting the woman to his impending presence. While this seemed to stop whatever the miscreant had planned, it caused him to come after her instead. She observed that the man "seemed so disoriented about what his goals actually were," since he did not attempt to steal the shopping bags she was holding. Be that as it may, Jameka bravely opted not to take any chances and, when the cretin approached her, she promptly kicked him in the chest and sent him reeling. "I was like OK, well, let's see if you can fight," she explained, "and he couldn't."
Another witness to the unsettling strangeness that morning, Luanda Marinho, reportedly recalled being approached by the masked man as she and a friend prepared to go for a run. In this instance, the creep pestered the joggers by repeatedly challenging them to a race. "He asked a few times, but none of us acknowledged him," she said, calling the encounter "very weird." As one might imagine, Philadelphia police are keen to unmask the miscreant who is wanted for assault due to his antics, which they theorize could be social media-inspired. Since sharing details of the case in a bulletin on Tuesday, they have reportedly received a bevy of tips, suggesting that the ne'er-do-well may be brought to justice soon.
