Multiple witnesses in communities around Sacramento were left scratching their heads at the sight of a mysterious beam of light that appeared in the night sky for several hours. According to a local media report, the wondrous illumination was spotted at around 10 PM on Monday by several people who soon flooded social media with photos and questions about the curious scene. The colorful beam of light was likened to a similar effect deployed when the California capital city's basketball team, The Kings, are victorious, however, that theory was quickly dismissed as the squad's season ended a few weeks ago. Similar theories surrounding area entertainment complexes were dispelled as local media outlets sought to solve the strange mystery.
Ultimately, the case was closed by Tuesday morning when it was revealed that the company Nu-Salt Laser International was behind the beam of light that had so many around Sacramento looking up at the sky in wonder. Specifically, the illumination was a demonstration of the entertainment lighting group's 'Awemobile,' which sports four monstrous laser cannons powerful enough to produce the effect seen by witnesses in multiple communities on Monday night. While the solution to the mysterious beam may disappoint those hoping for a more fantastic explanation, perhaps they can take some solace in knowing the event was not the start of an alien invasion.
