A new museum celebrating the magic and mystery of UFOs and their suspected alien occupants recently opened its doors in Nevada. The Outpost 51 Alien Museum, located in the Las Vegas suburb of Boulder City, is reportedly the brainchild of special effects artist Tom Devlin. Featured at the delightful-looking roadside attraction are displays exploring the ancient alien theory and revisiting classic cases like the legendary Roswell incident and the purported 1953 UFO crash said to have occurred in Kingman, Arizona.
Alongside the exhibits at the museum are fantastic models, created by Devlin, depicting various otherworldly visitors from flying saucer lore and films like "They Live" and "Predator." The Outpost 51 Alien Museum welcomed its first official guests at a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week wherein the 'alien' chosen for the honor had a little trouble managing the scissors, much to the amusement of the gathered crowd. The attraction is the second such site created by Devlin, who also operates a monster-themed museum located next door to the newly opened alien-centric establishment.
