A promise that UFOs would appear over a British beach led to hundreds of people flocking to the site in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the 'guaranteed' craft. According to a local media report, the odd gathering occurred Saturday evening in the coastal community of Eastbourne after self-described psychic and spiritual therapist Dani Henderson posted a tantalizing message on YouTube earlier in the week. In the video, she claimed that "a fleet" of UFOs would be "flying over" the beach on the night of May 10th. "I'm guaranteeing at least two real spacecraft," Henderson declared, encouraging viewers to join her and "make history" with her group, the Galactic Informers Spiritual Connection, which just so happened to be holding a convention in the town over the weekend.
It would appear that the alleged alien experiencer's peculiar promise captured the imagination of Eastbourne residents looking for something to do on Saturday night as hundreds of people headed to the beach. While the UFOs did not appear at the appointed time of 8 PM, this did little to deter the crowd, which dutifully sang One Love by Bob Marley at Henderson's request. Her reasoning for the song choice was that the iconic and uplifting tune would resonate with the aliens and encourage them to make an appearance.
Remarkably, at approximately 9:30 in the evening, two mysterious flashing objects appeared overhead to the amazement of the sky watchers, many of whom captured the curious illuminations with their cell phones. Footage seen above and collected here features the UFOs that captivated the crowd. Whether the objects were genuine extraterrestrial craft or something more prosaic like satellites is uncertain. That said, one imagines that the people who gathered on the beach in Eastbourne were likely satisfied with the experience since Henderson's promise of something strange appearing in the sky did seemingly come to fruition.
