Video: Second Crop Formation of 2026 Found

By Tim Binnall

The mysterious forces behind the crop circle phenomenon have struck again with another rather well-crafted formation found in England. Coming just days after the first design of 2026 was discovered, the second such piece of the season reportedly appeared this past Friday morning in a barley field on a farm in Wiltshire. Depicting a five-pointed star comprised of circles and somewhat resembling the famed Michelin Man, the formation (showcased in the drone video above) is far more complex than the rudimentary creation that preceded it earlier in the week.

Alas, as is often the case with the phenomenon that often tends to draw a crowd, not everyone was a fan of the fantastic formation. According to an account from a friend of the farmer's neighbor, the "nice old chap" who owns the property "wasn’t very happy" about the surprising artwork that appeared in his field overnight. "He has reported it to the police for insurance reasons," they said, noting that it is unlikely that the piece will be opened to the public as the man "isn't keen on the prospect of lots of people turning up."

That said, this individual was allowed to briefly examine the design for themselves and document it with a few on-the-ground photos and observations. Interestingly, they reported that the formation was "very neatly done and we didn’t see any boot marks or other evidence of people having gone in there at all at the nearest entrance, but the ground is pretty dry." As one might imagine, the relatively complex nature of the formation has generated an array of theories among crop circle researchers who believe there may be some kind of message in the design.
