Video: St. Louis Ice Cream Chain Unveils Cryptid-Themed Flavors

A St. Louis-based chain of ice cream shops is celebrating the spooky season with four new flavors inspired by iconic cryptids. According to a local media report, Clementine's Ice Cream rolled out the monstrous concept earlier this month at its ten locations found throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. The company boasts that the collection "brings each cryptid mystery to life through bold and unexpected flavors" that serve as "a tribute to the unknown, crafted to tempt, haunt, and maybe even leave a footprint behind."

Among the four cryptids represented in the ice cream shop offerings are Bigfoot, which manifests in the form of a non-dairy "blend of chocolate and coconut, laced with smoke and studded with roasted almonds and marshmallows," and the Loch Ness Monster, which is a "white espresso ice cream" with salted caramel streaks. Rounding out the set are the legendary Mothman, a "bitter black cocoa ice cream" with raspberry jam streaks, and the infamous Jersey Devil, which may have the most intriguing taste as it is described as being "spicy barbecue" flavor with "a dash of caramelized hot honey."
