Residents of a city in France were mystified when they woke up one morning to discover that a sizeable tree had seemingly grown through a parked car overnight. The wondrous sight was reportedly spotted along the side of a road in the community of Nantes last week. A video of the bizarre scene shows numerous people crowded around the car trying to figure out how the tree, which appears to still be rooted in the ground, wound up piercing through the driver's seat and bursting out of the top of the vehicle.
Many onlookers jokingly marveled that the weird event was the work of magicians and, when the footage of the pierced car popped up online, a number of paranormal-themed YouTube channels touted the strange incident as some kind of supernatural occurrence. Alas, that is not the case as a group of street artists stepped forward to take credit for the viral sensation. How, exactly, they managed to pull off the breathtaking feat remains a mystery and, sadly, we may never know as some ne'er-do-well with apparently no appreciation for the arts set the whole piece on fire a few days later.
