Video: Third Crop Formation of 2026 Found

By Tim Binnall

This year's crop circle season in the UK has proven to be remarkably busy, with the third formation of 2026 already found. The sizeable design was reportedly discovered on Friday at a location known as White Sheet Hill in Wiltshire, the British county which has become synonymous with the mysterious phenomenon over the years. Somewhat resembling the second formation of the season in its complexity, the newly discovered crop formation (showcased in the drone video above) is comprised of a sizeable circle at its center, surrounded by a ring from which four similarly sized globes extend, and each of those shapes is accompanied by a pair of smaller circles.

The newfound formation has spawned no shortage of speculation among crop circle researchers as to what the design might be meant to convey. Some have theorized that it could be a depiction of the four seasons, and others have argued that there might be a deeper message about environmental changes. Particularly intriguing about the newest crop circle is what it might portend for the rest of the summer, as the three formations found this month are the most by this point in the season since 2020, when the final tally reached a whopping 38 designs. The relatively blistering pace for 2026 suggests that we may wind up seeing a few dozen formations this year, which would be welcome news to fans of the phenomenon after the 2024 and 2025 counts failed to hit double digits.
