Video: Unidentified Falling Object Crashes Through Ceiling of New Jersey Body Shop

By Tim Binnall

The owner of a New Jersey body shop found himself with a strange mystery on his hands after his business was struck by an unidentified falling object that left a massive hole in the ceiling of the building. The odd incident reportedly occurred last Wednesday morning in the community of Magnolia when S & L Automotive was suddenly shaken by the impact of something that had seemingly plummeted from the sky. When workers noticed a hole in the ceiling the following day, owner Sebastian Leonardo checked their security footage and was left scratching his head.

"You eventually see a giant fireball come through the ceiling," he observed, "and everything comes flying down. The roof with it." Leonardo was not the only one bewildered by what had occurred as several Magnolia residents were roused from their sleep when the mystery object struck the top of the body shop. "It was really, really loud," marveled Denise Korejko, "the sky, the big bright light, and the big bang, it was big."

As for what the object could have been, astronomer Derrick Pitts noted that the flash, boom, and hole would seem to suggest it was something from off-planet. However, the lack of anything in the body shop that could account for the sizeable hole would appear to preclude that possibility. "If we had one more thing," he explained, "like an item that we could identify as being extraterrestrial, then we might say it's something from space." With that hypothetical avenue appearing to be closed, the case of the unidentified falling object in Magnolia is a mystery. What do you think struck S & L Automotive last Wednesday morning?
