Cops in Washington state recently received a rather unusual report from a resident who could not find their cigarettes and suspected that something paranormal was behind the mysterious disappearance. According to a local media report, the Moses Lake Police Department got the odd call last Tuesday morning at around 7:30 AM. The unnamed resident informed the dispatcher that, in a matter of seconds, their hand-rolled cigarettes had just suddenly vanished. With no sign of an intruder or any other explanation for their disappearance, the caller pointed to "paranormal activity" as the cause of the curious incident.
Alas, a police report about the call gave no indication as to what specific otherworldly phenomenon the resident suspected was responsible for the theft, though a ghost rather than an alien or Bigfoot seems like a safe guess. As one might imagine, cops dispatched to the residence did not find anything particularly extraordinary at the scene that would confirm the homeowner's fantastic theory for the missing cigarettes. Despite being unable to bust a ghost or any other paranormal entity that could have stolen the smokes, police assured the resident that the incident would be documented in the event that the otherworldly thief struck again.
