A seasoned pilot in Argentina has come forward with a compelling account of three mysterious lights that appeared outside his aircraft for more than 30 minutes. According to a local media report, the intriguing sighting occurred earlier this week after Gaspar Gouane's flight had departed from Buenos Aires en route to the city of Bahía Blanca. Around two hours into the trip, the pilot noticed something unusual in the otherwise clear night sky. "You could see the three lights had appeared," he recalled, "they started as if to dance between them, from one side to the other, from top to bottom, and then they disappeared" before reappearing a short time later "in the same place."
Particularly puzzling to the pilot was that the odd illuminations remained stationary for around 35 minutes as the plane continued on its journey. "We never got closer or further away," he recounted, "as if they were moving in the same direction and at the same speed as us." Gouane was not the only person aboard the plane to observe the wondrous 'show' as both his co-pilot and three passengers witnessed the weirdness unfolding outside the aircraft. Understandably curious as to what they were seeing, the pilot checked an astronomy app on his phone, and the program could not identify the illuminations as stars or satellites. Additionally, Gouane dutifully contacted the governing air traffic control tower to see if they could explain the objects, and they could not account for the lights.
Having been a pilot for the past fourteen years, the witness noted that "one is used to seeing satellites, the Starlink satellite train, shooting stars, even when you have another plane on the horizon," but "the first time I’ve seen anything like this." Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of Gouane's experience was how it impacted him. While reticent to label the lights as UFOs, the pilot called the sighting a "blow to the ego" in that "you have that helplessness of not being able to give it a name or explanation."
