A farmer in Malaysia was mystified when one of his goats delivered a kid that bore an uncanny resemblance to a human!
Ibrahim Basir marveled that the remarkable animal seemed to not only possess the face of a baby, but also its legs and body felt more like an infant.
Oddly, the farmer claims that the baby goat was born without an umbilical cord and, sadly, died shortly after its birth.
Nonetheless, the jaw-dropping creature created a stir in his village when word got around about the 'baby-faced goat' and some even offered to by the oddity from the farmer.
Thankfully, he opted to eschew financial reward in favor of answers and turned the creature over to authorities who will investigate it.
While it is almost certainly the result of a natural birth defect which spread beyond the village via the power of the Internet, that's not stopping some from speculating that it could have been supernatural.
They point to the mythical faun, a half-human and half-goat entity of Roman lore, and wonder if the tales were really entirely legend.
On the other hand, there's also the possibility that we're being fooled by a well-crafted Chewbacca doll and a clever story.
