A very weird piece of security camera footage from a residence in New York state shows a puzzling object fly across a room, but when the homeowner says that there was nothing on the floor when she went to investigate the situation. The bewildering video was reportedly captured around three in the morning this past Saturday in the city of Utica at the home of a woman who opted not to reveal her identity. According to her, the camera had been set up in her office to watch over her new puppy, which was in her bedroom at the time of the incident. Their slumber was shattered when the system alerted to something amiss in the room and when she looked at the footage, the woman was left with more questions than answers.
In the video, what appears to be a dog toy can be seen sailing through the room as if someone or something had thrown it. However, when the woman got out of bed and went into the office moments later, she was left scratching her head when there was nothing on the floor where the toy had presumably landed. This is particularly perplexing since the baffling flying object made a distinct sound when it seemingly hit the ground, suggesting that the oddity was not merely some trick of light from perhaps a passing car.
Skeptical viewers will no doubt say that the video was simply that of someone throwing a dog toy across the room and then coming up with a clever story to make it sound supernatural, which is certainly a strong possibility. Others, of course, will posit that perhaps the camera captured the antics of a ghost who happened to be missing the dog that night.
