A peculiar piece of footage from Chicago shows a truly bizarre wishbone-like UFO hovering in the sky as the witnesses watching it struggle to comprehend what they are seeing. The weird video was reportedly filmed last month by a woman named Aiyana as she and her son stood atop the roof of their home observing the unusual flying object. "I literally have no idea what it was. There is nothing comparable," she said, recounting how "I felt total confusion and a bit creeped out" as the eerie sighting unfolded.
To that end, in the video, Aiyana and her son can be heard nervously laughing about the odd UFO and wondering what it could be, before he muses "let's think logically about this." Despite that appeal to reason, the young man fails to come up with an explanation for the strange object which his mother later described as "a ball of some sort with two long strings or belts hanging from it. The strings had knobs in the middle and bottom." Although their video is only about a minute long, Aiyana says that they saw it "float slowly southeast without any other major movement" for about 20 minutes.
As for what the oddity could have been, some have suggested that it could be a kite or a drone and the predominant theory put forward by viewers online is that it is some kind of errant balloon, possibly one with scientific equipment attached to it. That said, others have expressed skepticism over that explanation by arguing that Chicago's famously windy conditions would have more of an effect on the object than is seen in the video.
