An Amazon delivery driver's video of what appears to be a broom floating in the sky has gone viral online as no one is quite sure what to make of the strange scene. The odd sight was filmed by TikTok user 'theonenamedlucca," who shared the footage on the site last Wednesday. In the video, the bewildered young man explains that he was "out making deliveries" when he suddenly spotted the floating broom off in the distance. After filming the curious object for about 20 seconds, the footage concludes with the witness explaining that "we eventually drove off and it stayed there floating."
Since being posted online, the video has amassed an amazing eight million views along with thousands of comments from puzzled people scratching their heads after seeing the video. While a small handful of observers have ascribed the scene to some supernatural occurrence, the vast majority have concluded that the footage is some kind of clever hoax, especially in light of it being shared online just days after Halloween. That said, how exactly a broom wound up floating in the sky has, so far, stumped social media.
While one might initially think that the object could be a sticker on the window of the witnesses' car, that theory falls apart when he gets out of the vehicle and the anomaly is still there over his head. Other suggestions for how the broom is floating in the sky center around fishing line being used, possibly in tandem with a drone or, failing that, perhaps that the scene was simply the product of CGI.
