A creepy video from Mexico shows the moment when a pair of hikers were sent running by an eerie mystery light that unleashed a chilling laugh. According to a local media report, the strange incident occurred earlier this month on Cerro de las Mitras mountain overlooking the city of Santa Catarina. While out hiking at night, the two young men were shaken when they spotted an inexplicable light moving towards them in the darkness. Upon reaching higher ground, one of the witnesses began filming the puzzling illumination and wondered aloud what it could be. Before they had much time to speculate, the situation took an even more terrifying turn.
As the duo watched the light, a nightmarish laugh suddenly pierced the air, seemingly emanating from the mysterious illumination. The combination of confounding phenomena prompted the pair to quickly scramble further up the mountain, fearful of what might be following them. It appears that the hikers escaped the situation without any further incident, as they subsequently posted the video on social media, where it spawned speculation that the duo had encountered a witch lurking on the mountain. Others dismissed that scenario as simply superstition and posited that the men had probably spotted another hiker who decided to give the pair a scare.
