A spooky video from Pennsylvania shows the moment when a woman was stopped in her tracks by an eerie orb that appeared in the night sky and seemed to be watching her. The peculiar incident, shared with the National UFO Reporting Center, occurred last Wednesday evening as the witness was walking her neighbor's dog, Charlie, in the community of Blakely. The normally routine stroll took a troubling turn, however, when she noticed a bright ball of light that initially appeared stationary in the sky. "The object hovered for a long period of time and then went up very fast, then downwards very fast," she recalled, "it then shot to the left and then went to the right extremely fast and out of sight."
In a rather video from her sighting (seen above), the witness can be heard marveling at the wondrous orb. "There's something bright above the house, moving weird," she says, before ominously observing that "now it's coming towards me." Although the object stops during its perceived approach, the witness then chillingly concedes that "it's kind of freaking me out, because it's like it knows that I'm watching it." Much to what one imagines was the woman's profound relief, the odd UFO eventually disappears behind a dental office in the video. That said, she indicated that she spotted it again during the walk home.
As for what the luminous anomaly could have been, the witness insisted that it was not a drone because she is "familiar" with how they look and sound, stressing that the anomaly that menaced her was silent. That said, more skeptical viewers have argued that a UAV was likely at the center of the mysterious moment. Should that perfectly plausible explanation be correct, it may actually be a creepier scenario than if the object had been an alien visitor, especially since the witness suspected that the orb was observing her.
