A social media influencer in Brazil says his life has been torn asunder after spotting and then filming what appeared to be a glowing object hovering over a hillside. The intriguing sighting reportedly occurred this past Sunday at a remote location in the community of Campo Largo. Witness Mayk Leão recalled how the weirdness began when the animals on his farm began acting strangely. While walking around the property to see what might be causing the commotion, he heard a series of unnerving sounds which he described as "crackles, roars, and metallic tones" coming from a source he could not identify. However, this was only the start of the strangeness he would experience that day.
Later that evening, when Leão gazed over at a distant hillside visible from his balcony, he was stunned to see a curious illumination hovering over a "dense forest area" that people would not have been able to access. The astonished witness captured some of the bewildering scene with his cell phone and, in the video (seen above), a light on the glowing object appears to move in a manner suggesting that it could be rotating. Content to wisely watch the UFO from his balcony rather than approach the eerie interloper, Leão indicated that the oddity remained at the spot for approximately 30 minutes.
Since being posted online, Leão's video has gone viral on Brazilian social media, with various theories offered for what he saw that night. As one might imagine, some believe he captured something otherworldly. However, others argue that the UFO had a prosaic explanation, such as a drone or a meteorological phenomenon, or may have been a clever hoax. For his part, Leão insists that the scene is genuine and mused that the "beautiful and frightening" experience had a profound effect on him, causing disruptions to his sleep and a general sense of unease over what occurred on Sunday.
