A spooky video filmed at a Mexican police station shows a mysterious set of footprints and what appears to be a ghost child that may have left them behind. According to a local media report, the eerie scene was captured by what is presumed to be a law enforcement officer or staff member at the northern headquarters of the Hermosillo Police Department. In the video, which can be seen below, the witness behind the camera shows a small footprint on an otherwise spotless floor. After noticing a second odd track near some desks, the man muses, "someone was doing mischief around here" and begins investigating the situation.
When the witness arrives at a door, what seems to be a small figure can be seen through the window in the opposite room. The sprite-like anomaly seems to quickly move out of sight as the man tries the doorknob and finds that it is locked. Since being posted online earlier this week, the video has gone viral on social media in Mexico, with many believing that it shows a ghost roaming around the police station. That said, more skeptical viewers argued that the 'spirit' could have been a reflection, a stain on the window, or, in light of the peculiar footprints, an elaborate hoax.
