A spooky video from Mexico shows the moment when a moviegoer seemingly encountered a crying ghost. According to a local media report, witness Alexis Lachica captured the creepy incident at a theater in the city of Mexicali. After seeing the final showing of a movie that ended at 11 PM, he headed to the restroom in an otherwise empty lobby and was taken aback when he heard an eerie wailing sound. Spanning around the room with his camera, Lachica was understandably shaken when he passed over a pillar and saw what appeared to be the head of a figure briefly popping out to look at him.
Since being posted on his TikTok account, Lachica's footage has amassed staggering six million views in less than a week. As one might imagine, responses to the viral video have been mixed. Some viewers, including multiple individuals who claimed to have had similar experiences while working at movie theaters in the past, suggested that the unnerving interloper was a genuine spirit. More skeptical observers, noting the abrupt and inconclusive ending of the footage, posited that the whole scene was probably a joke among friends that took on a life of its own after Lachica shared it online as a ghost video.
