Watch: Ghost Filmed in Window of Haunted Gettysburg Inn?

By Tim Binnall

While walking past a purportedly haunted inn in the town of Gettysburg, a man and his wife were left awestruck when they gazed up at the building's attic window and spotted what seemed to be a ghostly figure. According to a local media report, the spooky sighting occurred earlier this month as Jim and Lara Barnhill were visiting the Pennsylvania community that many believe to be rife with Civil War ghosts. As it was their first time exploring the town, the duo opted to stay at the Farnsworth House, an allegedly haunted bed and breakfast which has become popular among tourists hoping to encounter spirits during their visit.

One evening during their stay, the Barnhills were outside the inn and noticed what appeared to be a dark form dashing around in the attic of the building. Fortunately, Jim managed to catch the astounding sight with his cell phone and, in the footage, he can be heard exclaiming "Oh my God, dude, there's people moving up in that house." Remarkably, he later checked with the proprietors of the inn and was told that not only were there no ghost tours when the incident occurred, but that the attic is actually locked and off-limits to the public. In sharing his footage online, Jim mused that he was "not saying what it is, but not sure what else it could be." To that end, what do you think the couple saw in the window of the inn?
