A spooky video from Mexico shows what appears to be a ghost girl running around a store in an empty mall. According to a local media report, the eerie footage was posted online earlier this week by an individual who claimed that the strange scene was filmed by workers doing construction at the shopping center. In the video (featured above), the serenity of the empty mall is suddenly pierced by the presence of a little girl seen running across the front of a store. Interestingly, when the camera pans over to the workers watching the weirdness, they seem somewhat disturbed by the incident, grabbing their tools and presumably preparing to leave the scene.
As one might imagine, the video has spawned considerable discussion since being shared online with opinions largely divided into two camps. Some viewers believe that the footage is that of a genuine ghost girl frolicking in front of the store. More skeptical viewers, however, argue that the scene is too 'good' to be true and, as such, is likely a well-orchestrated hoax involving one of the worker's children starring as the 'spirit' or perhaps the product of AI.
