A weird video from Thailand shows the moment when an unoccupied truck began driving on its own after being struck by a car, leaving terrified witnesses to wonder if the vehicle was haunted. The strange scene reportedly unfolded last Thursday evening in the city of Kalasin when a driver careened into the sizeable piece of construction equipment that workers had left parked on the road. To the astonishment of onlookers, the crash brought the empty truck to life as it suddenly began wildly reversing in circles for several minutes.
Frightened by the spookiness before them, they promptly phoned the police to alert them to the seemingly haunted truck. Cops tasked with investigating the curious call ultimately wound up becoming proverbial ghostbusters as they quickly deduced what caused the vehicle to appear possessed. Police explained that a worker had left the truck parked in reverse with the keys still in the ignition. The impact from the car crashing into it somehow caused the vehicle to start and begin driving on its own.
