Watch: Motorcyclist Passes Through Ghost in Philippines?

By Tim Binnall

A very peculiar piece of footage from the Philippines shows the moment when a motorcyclist believes that a ghost manifested in the middle of a road and then vanished after it was seemingly struck by the bike. The eerie incident, which was captured by way of a helmet camera, reportedly unfolded early Saturday morning as Karl Dagus and a companion were cruising along a national highway that passes through the city of Cagayan de Oro. Their ride took a chilling turn when a person suddenly appeared in the otherwise desolate road and, as the motorcycle approached, moved in front of the bike rather than avoid it.

Although it appeared as though the person had been struck by the bike, when an understandably concerned Dagus and his friend looked around for the presumably downed pedestrian, they were nowhere to be found. Strangely, the motorcyclist later recalled feeling a gust of cold air at the moment wherein the mysterious stranger and the bike crossed paths. Dagus was all the more unsettled when he got home and watched the footage from the ride as the person who appeared in the road had no discernible face. Given the individual's odd appearance, their subsequent disappearance upon encountering the motorcycle, and the feeling of cold air at the moment of 'collision,' Dagus suspects that the person who popped up in the road may have been a ghost.

Since being posted online over the weekend, the spooky video has gone viral on social media in the Philippines with many echoing his assessment. Skeptical viewers will likely argue that Dagus simply struck a person and they disappeared into the darkness of the night as the motorcycle sped away from the scene. However, as of now, no one has stepped forward to identify themselves as that individual nor have authorities given any indication that there was someone hit by the bike at the spot. With that in mind, what do you think Dagus encountered early Saturday morning? Weigh in with your thoughts at the C2C Facebook page.
