A puzzling piece of footage from Brazil shows a rather sizeable and peculiar-looking figure standing atop a hill and some have speculated that the eerie individual may have actually been an alien. According to a local media report, the weird video was filmed by a group of people visiting the picturesque Ilha do Mel, or Honey Island, in the state of Paraná. In the footage, the witnesses marvel at the mysterious figure with one observer declaring that "it's too big to be a person." The video then cuts to what seems to be a few seconds later and the bizarre being can be seen moving down the hill before finally disappearing from view.
Upon being posted online over the weekend, the footage spread like wildfire on social media in Brazil with many people arguing that the figure, said to be around ten feet tall, was an extraterrestrial visitor. The video became such a hot topic of conversation, that the government of Paraná got in on the act with an amusing Tweet wherein they highlighted the "surreal" scene and jokingly surmised that Ilha do Mel is such an amazing place during the summer that it even attracts "strange beings" wishing to visit the tropical location.
