A Florida family found themselves scratching their heads at the sight of an odd white orb that hovered in the sky for at least a half hour. The puzzling sighting reportedly occurred this past Sunday afternoon in the city of Lakeland. While enjoying a backyard barbecue with his family, the unnamed witness and his brother noticed the curious object overhead. What struck the duo as particularly strange was that rather than moving across the sky, the weird white orb remained in one place the entire time they watched it.
To that end, in their video of the UFO, the witness can be heard marveling to his brother "how long have we been looking at this thing, like twenty-five minutes in the exact same spot?" The stationary nature of the object led him to posit that the orb was probably not a balloon, especially since the wind seemed not to affect its steady position in the sky. Ultimately, the witness was left with no explanation for what appeared over their family gathering on Sunday afternoon. What do you make of the confounding footage?
