Cops in Colombia captured footage of what appears to be an eerie shadow figure moving along a road in the middle of the night. The creepy footage (seen below) was reportedly filmed earlier this month by a pair of police officers conducting an overnight patrol in the city of Medellín. At around 3 AM, the cops caught sight of the curious figure in the distance seemingly coming towards them. Although admittedly difficult to discern in the footage, the mysterious stranger largely resembles a dark silhouette with a head, shoulders, and long body.
Since being posted online last week, the footage has sparked considerable debate on Colombian social media. There are, of course, some viewers who believe that the cops spotted a ghost and, unsurprisingly, skeptical observers who insist that the 'spirit' is merely a trick of light and shadow. While that could be the case, if the figure was merely an illusion, it fooled the officers on patrol, since they were clearly taken aback by the anomaly and zoomed in on it after first noticing it.
