A webcam watching over a luxury hotel in Mexico City captured footage of some particularly puzzling UFOs soaring through the night sky. The strange scene reportedly unfolded earlier this month during a livestream overlooking the Gran Hotel Ciudad de México in the country's capital. Noticed and shared online by a social media account dedicated to webcam anomalies in Mexico, the wonderfully weird moment (seen above) shows three seemingly winged objects flying over the building.
Since being posted online, the curious video spread like wildfire on Mexican social media, with an array of theories offered for what the weird objects could have been. Beyond the extraterrestrial hypothesis, some imaginative viewers speculated that the weird-looking aerial anomalies could be a heretofore undiscovered creature akin to the rod phenomenon. More skeptical observers, on the other hand, argued that the UFOs moved in a manner that seemed to suggest they were birds or moths that were rendered otherworldly looking because they were close to the camera.
