Watch: Security Camera Films Goblin in Argentina?

By Tim Binnall

A peculiar piece of security footage from Argentina shows a small shadowy figure sprinting along the side of a road and some believe that the eerie runner was a goblin. According to a local media report, the strange scene unfolded on Christmas Eve in the town of José de San Martín and was captured by a camera connected to the home of a police officer in the community. The puzzling footage begins with a dog furiously barking as it stands at the front gate of a house. Seconds later, a seemingly hunched-over figure runs down the road with such tremendous speed that it appears blurry in the video until it eventually disappears from the camera's view.

Upon being posted online, the video quickly went viral on social media in Argentina with various theories being offered for what the security camera captured. Some speculated that the figure could be a goblin of Latin American lore known as a duende. That said, not everyone was convinced of that explanation as more skeptical observers argued that the 'creature' was simply a person who appeared to look unusual due to the distance and lighting as well as the speed with which they ran. And, of course, some dismiss the video as being a computer-generated hoax. What's your take on the curious footage? Share your thoughts with us at the C2C Facebook page.
