A security guard at a Colombian cinema captured footage of what appears to be a ghost child roaming around the barren building. According to a local media report, the spooky scene was shared online earlier this week by an individual who explained that it was filmed during an overnight patrol at a movie theater in the Department of Antioquia. In the footage (featured below), a small figure can be seen standing in the lobby of the empty cinema as the haunting cries of a child fill the air. The suspected ghost child subsequently wanders away while its wails continue to pierce the silence of the night. Since being posted online, the video has spread like wildfire on Colombian social media, with viewers offering a variety of reactions.
Some expressed fear over the chilling footage, expressing the belief that the security guard encountered a genuine ghost. Conversely, more skeptical observers noted the figure's seemingly solid appearance and that it cast a reflection on the floor, which they argued indicated that it was a child who had been inadvertently left behind in the building or was an unwitting accomplice in a clever hoax. To that end, many people criticized the security guard for simply watching the distressed youngster instead of doing his job and getting to the bottom of the peculiar situation unfolding on his shift.
