A bewildered security guard in Mexico spotted what seemed to be an intruder in the building, but an attempt to locate the stranger came up short, leading some to suspect that the eerie figure could have been a ghost. The odd incident reportedly unfolded earlier this month at the campus of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León's Faculty of Law and Criminology. While out on patrol during the early morning hours, a security guard stopped to film the complex with his cell phone and, as he scanned across the building, was stunned to see a silhouette scurrying along a hallway until seemingly vanishing into thin air.
To his credit, the watchman dutifully dashed toward the location of the perceived intruder, but there was no one there when he arrived at the scene and a check of the various hallways connected to the area also proved to be fruitless. As is so often the case with spooky videos, the guard's footage soon found its way onto social media in Mexico and subsequently went viral with many viewers speculating that the eerie interloper was a spirit.
However, not everyone was convinced that the figure was supernatural as others amusingly argued that the 'ghost' was just a student who had fallen asleep somewhere in the building and was only now finally making their way home. Another possibility put forward by skeptical viewers is that the 'haunting' is simply a clever hoax crafted by the watchman and a friend. With that in mind,what do you think the guard filmed?
