A worker at a nursing home in Chicago got the last laugh on his friends and family who disbelieved his claims of seeing a ghost after he produced security footage which seems to show the spirit in question. During an overnight shift at the facility, security guard Jay Brown reportedly witnessed some kind of apparition lingering in the building. However, upon telling his loved ones the next day, he was dismayed when they dismissed his account of the eerie encounter.
Undeterred, Brown turned to the security system at the facility to see if perhaps it had captured something strange during the alleged sighting. Fortunately, much to his delight and amazement, the cameras appear to have, indeed, filmed something truly odd at the moment that he had seen something strange. In the footage, Brown can be seen sitting at the reception desk at the nursing home when a weird white fog, of sorts, floats through the air in front of him.
What makes the video particularly compelling is how Brown reacts in the moment that he sees the anomaly. At first, he just stares at the inexplicable sight and then swiftly stands up at the desk while never taking his eyes off the apparition had appeared before him. Brown subsequently stiffens up and takes a step back before regaining his composure and putting his hands up in a manner to suggesting that he wanted nothing more to do with the creepy sight.
While skeptics may say that there is a prosaic explanation for the weird video or perhaps some kind of trickery on Brown's part, the footage is pretty compelling. And anyone who has ever experienced seeing something paranormal unfold before their eyes and then having had their story ridiculed by others can appreciate the satisfaction he displays when watching the video since it seemingly confirms that he saw something spooky that night.
