A British man was left scratching his head after spotting a strange group of UFOs that initially seemed to be shapeshifting as they floated through the sky. According to an account submitted to the National UFO Reporting Center, the puzzling incident occurred on May 20th in the village of Bowers Gifford. While standing in his backyard that evening, the man recalled, he was suddenly mystified by the sight of some "dark objects moving from west to east overhead." Initially thinking the anomaly was an airplane, the witness soon dismissed that scenario when he observed that the UFO "seemed to be changing shape."
Focusing his attention on the odd aerial interloper, he deduced that the anomaly appeared to be "two or three independent objects moving around each other," which is what created the illusion of a singular form changing shape. After watching the peculiar scene with his mother for around 90 seconds, the witness smartly began filming the anomalies with his cell phone. In his video (seen above), the pair can be heard discussing the curious objects and theorizing about what they could be, while also amusingly having a brief aside about how he had helped repair a friend's roof earlier in the day.
As for what the UFOs could have been, he mused that it "almost looked like 2 balloons holding up some object, but the movement relative to each other was such that this did not seem possible." The witness similarly dismissed the possibility that the anomalies were a drone or a conventional airplane, based on his experience with such craft.
