An interesting piece of security footage from Philadelphia shows what appears to be a glowing disc lighting up the night sky as it takes flight. The remarkable scene was captured at around 2:30 AM on February 15th and subsequently shared with the National UFO Reporting Center by the astonished homeowner. In the confounding footage, a sizeable circular light slowly ascends and, upon exiting the top of the frame, seemingly lights up the sky. A second security camera at the residence also caught that moment in a video that was dutifully shared by the homeowner as well.
As for what the weird glowing object was, some have understandably speculated that the anomaly was alien in nature, perhaps a craft departing our planet after a clandestine visit to Earth. More skeptical viewers have suggested that the puzzling disc could have been something less fantastic, such as a drone or a lantern that looked otherworldly due to the direction from which it was filmed.
