Watch: Strange Sphere Filmed Zipping Through Sky at Incredible Speed in Costa Rica

By Tim Binnall

A compelling video from Costa Rica shows a strange sphere zipping through the sky at an incredible speed. According to a local media report, the Costa Rican UFO research group Cial Observatorio Ovni C.R. shared the footage online earlier this week, explaining that the sighting occurred in the city of Heredia. In the video (featured below), a small white orb appears in front of a sizeable mountain and quickly ascends into the sky before disappearing.

To their credit, the researchers who shared the footage slowed it down to convey just how fast the object was moving. At 10% speed, one can clearly see the rather small UFO, which appears almost as a blur when the video is at full speed. As for what the anomaly was, Costa Rican UFO researcher Alejandro Sáez dismissed the possibility that it was a drone. "I know their limitations," he explained, "no commercial drone can reach those speeds or those heights, or move completely freely."

On the contrary, Sáez argued that the object was a non-human visitor with a very specific purpose. "These spheres function as monitoring probes," he posited, suggesting that such observational craft have been present on our planet for at least the last 30 years. Despite being diminutive in size, Sáez said, "they are objects of very high technology, capable of developing extreme speeds."
