A thermal camera at an old Ohio courthouse captured a curious anomaly that some have suggested could have been a spirit lurking in the building. A worker reportedly documented the unusual incident at an unspecified site located in the southeast part of the state. According to the witness, the building features "a metal detector and a thermal camera at the front door." While working at the site last week, he and his colleagues "noticed something" seemingly detected by the latter device and, upon spotting the anomaly again "a little while later," filmed the peculiar scene that left them scratching their heads.
In the video (featured above), the thermal camera points at a door sporting a large window to an adjacent lobby. On the monitor of the device, one can see what appears to be the heat signature of a figure standing behind the door in the empty room. The witness indicated that they spoke to "different people at the courthouse" about the eerie scene, and many theorized that the anomaly was "a woman who was tried and convicted, and sentenced to death" in the building. That said, more skeptical viewers have posited that the 'ghost' was merely a reflection detected by the thermal device. What do you make of the spooky footage?
