A curious piece of footage circulating online appears to show some kind of weird being briefly scurrying past a trailcam and some observers think the oddity might be a humanoid entity. The very weird video was submitted to the website Phantoms and Monsters by an individual who allegedly lives in the community of Leesburg, Virginia. According to them, the eerie footage was captured last Thursday morning at around 6 AM by a trail camera positioned in their backyard. Although the device usually just picks up random wildlife passing through the area, in this instance something truly strange made an appearance and left the homeowner scratching their head.
In the very brief moment, which occurs right at the start of the video, what appears to be a shirt with no arm inside of it can be seen moving past the camera in a manner that looks as if it is someone running. Alas, the spooky anomaly does not return to the scene, leaving one to wonder exactly what it was. For their part, the bewildered homeowner says that they have had the camera in their backyard for two years and that it has never spotted a person on the property. As to the anomaly itself, they noted that "the arm is way too thin and no fingers or hand is seen" in the video.
As one might imagine, there are various theories as to what the curious interloper could have been with some suggesting that it was a supernatural entity or perhaps a ghost. More skeptical viewers, however, have argued that the 'arm' belonging to the 'being' is actually someone's belt loop that was picked up by the camera as they walked past it. While that may be the case, the theory still doesn't answer the question of who or what was lurking in the homeowner's yard. With that in mind, what's your take on the puzzling footage?
