A remarkable video from Mexico shows a UFO flying towards a volcano moments before it unleashes a massive eruption. The wondrous scene was reportedly captured early Sunday morning by a webcam which watches over the rather volatile Popocatepetl volcano in the state of Puebla. In the intriguing footage, the peaceful predawn sky is suddenly pierced by a fairly sizeable glowing object that appears heading towards the crater of the volcano. However, before it can reach its perceived destination, an enormous eruption occurs and the UFO disappears amid the lava blasting out of the site.
What became of the oddity is as mysterious as what it may have been in the first place, though it is not the first suspected UFO to be seen surrounding the volcano. In the past, curious objects have been seen both flying into and out of the location to the point that many have speculated that the site is either of particular interest to extraterrestrials or perhaps it serves as some kind of base for them. Of course, skeptics will argue that the the glowing anomaly was probably an airplane that merely looked like it was headed into the volcano due to the angle of the camera.
