A Texas family was understandably unnerved when their doorbell camera captured creepy footage of an unknown individual wearing a Joe Biden mask and eating a banana outside their home. According to a local media report, the bizarre incident occurred earlier this week at a residence in the city of Watauga. In the footage (featured above), the mysterious masked stranger brazenly walks up to the front door, reveals that they are also wearing a Charlie Kirk 'Freedom' T-shirt, and then pulls out a banana, which they proceeded to eat before casually leaving the scene.
Viewers baffled by the footage are not alone as, in detailing the case, the Watauga Police Department also expressed bewilderment over the strange scene. "We can't explain the costume, the banana, or the apparent political identity crisis," they said in a statement, "we will leave the interpretation of this unusual combination of political figures and evening snacks to the internet." As for the person's antics, the department indicated that "although the individual's choice of attire and snack may have raised a few eyebrows, neither appears to have violated the law at this time ... being bizarre is not, in itself, a criminal offense."
That said, after being alerted to the odd incident, the department said it searched the neighborhood for the bipartisan banana eater, but the mischief maker was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, some community members have taken to social media with reports that their homes were also visited by the weirdo, but additional footage of the stranger has yet to emerge. The Biden-masked miscreant joins a growing list of curious and creepy characters who have made headlines thanks to the advent of doorbell cameras. Just last year alone, a Virginia family was frightened by a trio of Halloween-themed hooligans, a 'Box Demon' haunted a home in Pennsylvania, and a nightmarish figure in a Satanic mask appeared outside a Texas residence.
